The Pat Vaccaro Award

Anyone who knows NRBA President Pat Vaccaro will say this about him:  He is a "giver".  Pat studied and worked very hard to go from the South Side of New Rochelle to the pinnacle of success in the American legal profession, but he has never forgotten where he came from.  And in the many things he is involved in, Pat is always part of the solution, never the problem.

Pat's inspiring lifetime of hard work, achievement and giving back is a model for our youth.  One way Pat (with the help of generous NRBA donors) is encouraging our young people to emulate that model is by a financial award given to graduating seniors on the Boys and Girls Varsity basketball teams at New Rochelle High School.

The Pat Vaccaro Awards go to the graduating seniors who 1) display a great work ethic on the court and in the classroom, 2) show dedication and loyalty to the New Rochelle Basketball Program, and 3) are great representatives of our program throughout New Rochelle and beyond.  The NRBA believes that these core values of hard work, dedication and loyalty (that have been the "secrets" of Pat's success) are also the hallmarks of a rewarding life.

Thanks to the generosity of donors to the NRBA (also referred to as "Pat's Fund"!), we have been able to award $1,000 each to the following past recipients of the PAT VACCARO AWARD:
