VARSITY BOYS "SCORE" DURING "RED RIBBON WEEK" AT ALBERT LEONARD!!

Members of the High School Varsity teams know that a lot of eyes are on them. They realize that they are role models for the younger student-athletes in our program, as well as all other students whether or not they play sports.  So, when returning players from our high school teams were asked to participate in Albert Leonard Middle School's "Red Ribbon Week" celebration, they didn't hesitate to answer the call!

Mr. Michael Kenny, retired New Rochelle's Coordinator of Guidance and Counseling (now an NRBA Board Member), commended the participants as "strong role model[s] for refusing the use of drugs and alcohol."  He added: "What an important message to send to our New Rochelle youth!"  Extending his personal regards for a "most successful school year on the basketball court and in the classroom," Mr. Kenny said, "Your parents and Coach Young should be very proud for how well you represented the New Rochelle High School basketball program."
