A life-long resident of New Rochelle (and New Rochelle High School graduate), Pat Vaccaro recently retired as a partner in the national law firm of Jackson Lewis PC.  From 2006 to 2012, Mr. Vaccaro served as the firm-wide Managing Partner, leading the firm through an era of unprecedented growth and success.  Prior to 2006, he served as the firm's Vice Chair, and for twenty-five years was Managing Partner of its White Plains, NY office.  

 

Pat has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America Reference Guide for more than twenty consecutive years; was named by Westchester Magazine as the “Best Labor and Employment Lawyer in Westchester County”, and has been designated as one of the “50 Most Powerful Employment Attorneys in America”.  ​To Pat, being placed on the "Wall of Distinguished Alumni" by New Rochelle High School is an honor every bit as gratifying as these and the many other accolades he has received in his long and distinguished professional career. 

 

Pat has always loved basketball and supported our community's youth. A fixture at Iona College basketball games for decades, he lead the New Rochelle Basketball Associaton from its inception.  He is committed to lending his organizational and philanthropic expertise to insure that the NRBA remains a powerful force in helping the youth of New Rochelle through the game he loves.  

 

Pat is also a living example of how education can change lives.  From the south side of New Rochelle, Pat went on to receive his B.S. from New York University School of Commerce, and his law (LL.B) degree from New York University School of Law.  He later received a Master of Laws Degree in Labor Law from the New York University Graduate School of Law.
